FlexiScale v2.0 goes live - April 2008

From April 2008 we’re live with FlexiScale v2.0 bringing a whole raft of new features. One of the key enhancements is our improved pricing matrix that allows customers to flexibly and transparently choose the right amount of memory and CPU power:

FlexiScale now supports up to 8Gb of RAM from previously only 2Gb

Customers with larger memory VDSs will be automatically allocated more than one CPU (up to max. 4)

Customers with low memory but high processing requirements can ‘buy’ additional CPUs

Customers can sign-up online via the website or Control Panel from only £10 down and can create their own Virtual Dedicated Server in a few minutes.

Our V2.0 also offers a whole new set of golden images that includes  CentOS 5 (32/64-bit), Ubuntu 6.06 LTS (32-bit), Debian 4.0 (etch) (32/64-bit) and Windows Standard Server 2003 (64-bit). On top of that the first version of the API is released and FlexiScale now offers full self-service for all Virtual Dedicated Servers (VDS), so customers can change memory, CPUs, storage and IP addresses.
