Here begins the catalog of errors that has been my initial experience with FlexiScale......
So I follow the steps outlined to create a new instance, and as I hit create I receive a database error. After finding a way back to the homepage (the navigation could do with some work) I see that the server has indeed been created.
I try to start the server, go out to the shops and get some smokes whilst waiting (away for approx 40 minutes), I get back to find the server still says starting... I can't kill the server as there is a job waiting. So I try to create another server, again I get the database error, again the server shows in my list. Again I try to start it and it just sits at starting. I try to use the API commands to kill, no joy, same error as through the CP.
I log a support ticket and receive an email to say it's been logged. I go to view my open tickets and funnily enough none are listed. By this point one of the instances has disappeared from the list.
I send an email through to support quoting my reference number, trying to find out why my ticket doesn't show as open. No response now, to anything (I suppose it has only been 3 days since I logged the call, shouldn't really expect any response by now!!!).
So to sum things up, 3 days after I created my instance, and logged a support call to say that it wasn't working, the instance is still sat at starting, and I have still heard not a peep from anyone in support.
Is this why you take £10 in advance????
So if anyone does happen to be bored of avoiding support tickets and reading the forum, they could maybe actually give me a response of some sort?
Your Sincerely,
One very disgruntled customer.
