Shutdown jobs

Hi,

I seem to be unable to cancel jobs that are scheduled for the future. e.g. if I set a Shutdown to be triggered 8 hours from now...then manually closed my server now I have no way to bring it back up again. I get an error that Job Currently In Progress (i.e. the pending shutdown job).

So I was forced to wait 8 hours before I could get back on my server...oops.

Also, being able to hybernate / standby and then use a WakeOnLan packet to instantly power back on my server would be pretty cool (or some other way to remotely power it back on instantly).

Hello,

Cancelling scheduled tasks would certainly be a useful feature to have. I've raised a ticket with the control panel development team to look into that. I'm actually surprised no-one has flagged that with us before.

I'm not aware of anything on our roadmap which will allow suspending/hibernating VMs on FlexiScale. At the moment we do offer the API which will allow you to write some code to start/stop/reboot a server without going through the control panel.
