I'm running a 4CPU, 2GB Ram setup with Ubuntu. This was previously a 1CPU/1GB setup that we expanded.
The load average seems quite high, averaging just over 4 now (and just over 1 when we had 1 CPU). This is just after boot. If I look at the processes with top there is nothing taking up a lot of CPU. Also, when I look at vmstat there is no high usage in system or wait columns.
I'm trying to figure out what would cause the load average to be much higher than 0.00.
Any ideas?
