I am running an instance of Win2K3Server, and while trying to enable some of the services, the installation procedure is prompting me for the Service Pack 2 CDROM.

I noticed that in my instance there is a disconnected network drive ( I: ) labeled W2K3ServerSP2 Installation files that would seem to work for this if it was actually connected.

I there a way to either map this drive, or another way to complete the service installation (i.e. IIS).

Thanks,

jfc

Hi,

If you click on the drive to connect it a password prompt will appear, enter any username and password and it should connect and you will be able to access the files that you require.

No Joy,

I'm getting the message that the drive could not be mapped because no network was found....

The system is trying to connect to: \\xanthos.xcalibre.co.uk\Win2K3ServerSP2

Could you provide the path to the image?

Thanks,

jfc

Hi,

There was a problem with permissions on the ip range that you are on being allowed to access the mapping, this has now been fixed if you would like to try it again?

Apologies for the inconvenience.

Regards

James
