Windows from California

I am interested in using FlexiScale with Windows. I assume I would use Remote Desktop to use the server(s). My concern is that the latency from California to the UK would make Remote Desktop unusable. (I realize that this wouldn't be a problem with telnet and Linux, but I prefer Windows.) Do you think this would be a problem?

Personally i cant see that as being a problem, I used to have dedicated servers on the westcoast and east coast of the US for web hosting in the uk and latency was never a concern. Again it does depend on what you're using it for, gaming servers might be a bigger issue.

Im sure a member of staff will confirm this early next week (it's easter bank holiday other here this weekend).

Chris is correct, FlexiScale is still certainly usable from the east coast although the latency is higher, so VOIP, streaming etc, might not work so well. We will be looking at offering services physically in the USA at some point in the future but it's quite a way off at the moment.

Thanks, I am now using Windows at FlexiScale, and it works just fine.
