Does internal shutdown register in control panel

In the control panel there are options to start and stop and instance.

However, if we are using an instance and select the shutdown option from within the instance - will the control panel still register that that instance has stopped?

Hi,

Servers shutdown manually will be registered as shutdown via the control panel and a shutdown job will appear, at present this may be upto 15 minutes after the server has shutdown, this will shorten to upto 1 minute in the next few weeks.
