A couple of times now I've checked my flexiscale account to find it's just tipped into the red. An automated email when the account balance dropped below a certain amount (perhaps scaled with average usage?) would help keep it in credit.
Thankfully servers do not automatically shut down when credit runs dry.

Hi
Thanks for your comment regarding credit going into the red and reminder emails. As part of some new year improvements this is, coincidently, just about to be launched tomorrow Friday 1st Feb 2008.
Initially you will receive a warning email to advise that credit has dropped below £5 and subsequently the server will be switched off if the account drops into a debit balance.
However, the sever can be reactivated by topping up your credit and switching back on. You will also be able to set a higher warning level if you wish and by agreeing warning limit and top up amount with us, via your credit card, we can also take automated payments when the limit is reached.
All in all a better customer service as you will not longer be surprised to find that you have run out of credit just when you need to run the server.
